Metabolic Resistance Training – The New School Of Old School

Building a better, more efficient body involves more than just lifting weights. A basic understanding of human kinetics and movement, of how muscles work sure helps.

So, exactly how do muscles work?

Muscles are developed by causing or making them work and they can only work when the body is in motion. Muscles work even more efficiently when we are in full motion. Therefore, to develop the muscles to their maximum potential, we must make them work to the best of their abilities.

In order to fully develop your muscles, you have to move, and move, and move, and move. The only thing that will actually grow in points of inertia, if you remain immobile, is your weight. If you want muscle growth, strength and power, you must work your body methodically. Muscle training by today’s definition is called working out. My chosen method or the method of the day is called Metabolic Resistance Training.

Muscles can be toned
(or conditioned) by consistent activities such as, brisk walking, jogging, and doing other marginally intensive movement. But toning muscles will not grow them in size and splendor. You must do more — much more — to possess those deeply engravened muscles. You have to truly work those muscles out.

Metabolic Resistance Training techniques apply bodyweight movements, weights and other apparatus and activities. In order to achieve that lean, healthy body, you must devote a sizable portion of your time, effort and energy into this practice if you want to forge and form beautiful, functional and visible muscles. You will also have to do away with vices like smoking, drinking liquor, eating junk food, staying up all night and the like.

Muscles grow in size and function only when they are working hard. As your muscles are subjected to repeated, exigent exertion that gradually increases with intensity, they are being forced to disrepair and then through sufficient dietary repletion, they will grow and toughen.

The more intense the muscular activity, the better and faster the muscle is developed. Therefore, a systematic muscle development program incorporating increased muscular stimulation builds muscles more effectively and efficiently. While training, if you do not employ a progressive resistance platform, or system for increasing time, type and frequency, your muscles will only grow so much, leaving you with little to no results. Some non-intensive exercises do help to shape muscles, but only to a certain degree.

The kicker is that strategically developed muscles not only allow you to do average, every day, ordinary tasks better, but they have been tuned up and calibrated to reach their full potential.  Metabolic resistance training is your surest bet to help develop your muscles to their utmost performance and appearance.
